Bouquet of Kindness is organized for charitable purposes and is dedicated to providing floral bouquets to hospitals, hospice, and veterans medical facilities. Our Executive Director, Tracy Mormando, has been a florist for 30+ years and believes in the power of flowers to boost a person’s mood and overall health while creating feelings of joy and happiness.
Tracy’s parents, Wayne and Constance Lamond, passed 20 days apart in 2017 after long fights with cancer and other illnesses. Having been by their sides during stops in Veterans Care Facilities, hospitals and eventually, hospice care, Tracy witnessed the amazing work of doctors, nurses, and other medical staff. It became her mission to try to lend a small hand in the effort to help patients and families who are going through a similarly difficult time in their lives.
In 2019, Bouquet of Kindness was organized with its focus on providing floral bouquets and encouragement to medical care facilities to lift the spirits and emotional health of patients and families.
